Just What Me Press
Caitlin Voth
I am a Typographer and Print Designer who specializes in typesetting and book design. I have a Writing & Publishing Diploma from Okanagan College where I worked on literary journals, such as Ryga: A Journal of Provocations, and developed a passion for letterpress. I have apprenticed at Greenboathouse Press in Vernon since 2012 and I am currently working on establishing my own private press. Presently, I am the Creative Director of a small literary magazine called OK Magpie. I am also working towards my BA in English at the University of British Columbia's Okanagan campus where I eventually hope to pursue a Master's Degree. I believe my education and apprenticeship has fostered an acute eye for detail that translates across many design projects to produce a final product that is clean, elegant and, most importantly, honours and elucidates its content.

I am a student at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, currently enrolled in the Computer Information Technology program. However, my passion for web development extends well beyond my studies. I have had an interest in programming since an early age, and my time at BCIT has supplemented this curiosity by diversifying and strengthening my skill set. I am familiar with many web technologies including database design and administration, serverside coding, as well as the modern web design ethos concerning responsive design and agile development. I believe in offering clean, efficient and robust solutions for backend web development, as well as being involved in every step of the website’s progress to ensure not only it's compliance with industry standards, but my own as well. I feel that, combined with the design sensibilities of my counterpart, I am able to deliver a product that is not only gorgeous in stills, but in user experience and usage as well.
